I am a two-time living organ donor, too: in 2019, I donated the right lobe of my liver to a woman I met on a plane to Spain in 1983 (and never saw again until shortly before surgery!), and I altruistically donated my left kidney to an unknown recipient in New York on April 15, 2021.
